Greta

Greta is a female Australian Cattle Dog, Red Heeler mix. She is approximately 2 years old, weighs 25 pounds, and is 24" in length and 22" in height. Greta is also crate trained.

Greta was from a litter of dogs that was rescued from a wasteland in May 2019. Her mother was picked up by Animal Control and they were left alone. They were in danger trying to cross the street looking for food when they were reported and rescued. They were all adopted, and Greta went to a home that unfortunately kept her on the roof of the house without protection from the weather. She was removed from this home and brought her back to the shelter. A few months later another adopter came out and all requirements were met. She was delivered to the home. A few weeks later a visit was made because a neighbor contacted us, and we found her chained and miserable. She was immediately removed from that home as well.​

Greta es una hembra de pastor ganadero australiano, mezcla de Red Heeler. Tiene aproximadamente 2 años, pesa 25 libras y mide 24" de largo y 22" de alto. Greta también está entrenada en cajas.

​Greta era de una camada de perros que fue rescatada de un páramo en mayo de 2019. Control de animales recogió a su madre y los dejó solos. Corrían peligro al intentar cruzar la calle en busca de comida cuando fueron denunciados y rescatados. Todos fueron adoptados y Greta se fue a un hogar que desafortunadamente la mantuvo en el techo de la casa sin protección contra el clima. La sacaron de esta casa y la llevaron de regreso al refugio. Unos meses más tarde salió otro adoptante y se cumplieron todos los requisitos. Fue entregada a domicilio. A las pocas semanas se hizo una visita porque una vecina nos contactó y la encontramos encadenada y miserable. Ella también fue removida inmediatamente de esa casa.
