Kennedy
[English]
Kennedy is a young, male Labradoodle mix, approximately 2-3 years old.
He weighs 27 pounds, 20" from foot to head and 29.5" from nose to tail. He has curly hair, is neutered, vaccinated and dewormed. We found Kennedy wandering through a sector of town where there are a lot of abandoned animals. We tried to catch him for three months so we could help him. His hair was so long we couldn't see his face or tell what is condition he was in. Kennedy lived and slept wherever the night took him. He would eat from the garbage and sometimes, if he was lucky, the owners of a poultry shop would give him leftover chicken. Every day, he walked past the vet where we take our rescues. We asked the vet to catch him so we could rescue him. Finally, one lucky day, the vet was able to catch him! He bathed him, cut all his hair since he was very mistreated, and neutered him. He stayed at the vet for several days to recover. He felt so good - safe and protected. He didn't want to leave! He felt it was already his house and he stayed under a desk without causing any problems. When Kennedy wanted to go to the bathroom, he would ask to go out and then return to hide under the desk again. Now that he is in a foster home, he has behaved very well. He lives with other dogs and children. We take him out on a leash and he loves to run. Whenever he wants to go potty, he calls out to go to the patio. He is a very intelligent, affectionate, grateful, active puppy. He likes to rest on the couch and be still. He is really enjoying living with a family and the security of having food, and a warm place to sleep without being in danger. Kennedy knows how to use a leash, and go potty outside. He sleeps in his doghouse and loves his sweater. When he's happy, he barks very loudly. Kennedy will be available for adoptions to his forever home in January 2022!
¡No quería irse!
